About RiftMetaRiftMeta is an independent fan project, created under Riot Games' "Legal Jibber Jabber" policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. or UVS Games. Riftbound and all related trademarks and copyrights are the property of their respective owners.

Welcome to RiftMeta (riftmeta.gg). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

RiftMeta provides competitive tournament statistics, matchup data, deck analytics, and standings for the Riftbound trading card game. We aggregate publicly available tournament data from the UVS Games API and present it in an analytical format. RiftMeta is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Riot Games or UVS Games.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using email/password or Discord OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for abusive purposes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data at a rate that degrades service for other users
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercialize data obtained from the Service without our written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or association with another person or organization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product or service
  • Circumvent any technical measures we use to limit access to the Service

4. Subscriptions and Payments

RiftMeta may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Polar). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are owed a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, branding, and original content are owned by RiftMeta. Tournament data is sourced from the UVS Games API and remains the property of UVS Games and its licensors. Riftbound card names, images, and game content are the property of Riot Games, Inc. and their respective owners.

You may share links to RiftMeta pages and reference publicly displayed statistics with attribution.

6. User-Generated Content

The Service may allow you to submit content such as saved decklists, notes, or feedback ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant RiftMeta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display the content for the purposes of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to submit it. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of tournament data. Statistics are derived from publicly available API data and may contain errors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiftMeta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RiftMeta and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights.

11. Electronic Communications

By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including emails and on-site notices. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
